Check you understand the mission so you achieve your goal

If you have come to this site and are reading this then I am drawing the conclusion that ultimately you are looking for more happiness. In fact the motivation for pursuing all 'self development, self awareness, self improvement and success' is the pursuit of more happiness.

If I was to sum up the problem with one generalisation it is that you are unclear. You are a mess of misguided ideas of:-

1. Who you are exactly; and

2. What you can have as an experience.

Confusion is rampant

• You know you love time alone but keep accepting dinner invitations;
• You feel like a musician but you continue to work in the bank;
• You say you dream about a shining new car but the one you have is dirty and full of rubbish;
• You ache to be in shape but you can't stop putting cakes in the shopping basket;
• You say you know what to do but say you don't know why it is not happening;
• You say you will do what it takes but you won't complete one simple task.

To use an analogy, we have been designed as a television but we are trying to operate as a mobile phone. As we are confused in our minds, so too is our outer behaviour because it is a mirror of our inner world.

As I write in 2010, I can understand many will read this and feel compelled to laugh at the notion that we can have and enjoy life to the full, in abundance until it overflows. However you are here and of course behind the flippant sarcasm that you're just surfing, there sits a very wise, unique, very talented, genius. Yes, you can read that again... you are a very wise, unique and very talented genius.

So here is the misconception and perhaps the reason why so much money, time and energy is spent in the pursuit of self development and behavioural change and why perhaps life doesn't change the way, or as fast, as you hope. You can sense that this happiness exists but you never get your hands on it despite your investment.

Please don't rush past the picture below. It will cause a perception breakthrough.

You are already perfect

When we believe we need to develop, improve and become more we are out of integrity with our truth that we are already perfect. The reason why we are not flourishing is because we are misguided about who we are and what we can expect from our lives and this distorted belief system then infects and corrupts the flow of everything we are involved in.

Your Successful Breakthrough

What Self Discovery focuses on is peeling and clearing away all the misguided, untruthful, disillusional beliefs about yourself so you can return to your original blueprint. As the diagram demonstrates, the dynamic is actually the opposite of what you may perceive you need.

If you sit a moment and observe the two pictures I can guess that you can already feel a weight off your shoulders right? You can feel the struggle peel away as you stop feeling you need to be more, have more and work more and realise it's simply a case of cleaning up by uncovering, revealing and eradicating everything that does not serve you.

You may recognise that real you on the far right of the picture. The faint echo of a voice inside that actually feels 'enough'. You may have heard him/her screaming for a long time as he/she fights to get through all the layers of your misguided, schzophrenic personas and is aching for peace, freedom and feeling in control; freedom to both acknowledge what you really want to do each and every day and the courage to speak up and defend it.

Self awareness opens the door to your divine inheritance

Your authentic, core self is housed with a fire of passion in a certain area and equipped with the perfect skills and an equal amount of energy to keep you driven, vital and focused as long as you wish.

The reality is that we all have challenges by the very fact that we are alive and human so I am not saying that living life as your authentic self is without its challenge. I am simply saying that the effort you put into living life as the authentic you will dissolve the chance of having no regrets.

I believe that this site will provide you with any information you need to make that happen and it will offer it to you in a new, hopefully fun way. What it cannot do though is do it for you. Even if we generalise and say the 'how' is as much as 90% of the solution, the 10% that cements the change ultimately lies in your hands... however it is worth the effort in ways you don't know yet and will have to trust.
