Getting nowhere successfully
Do or do not, the place in between feels like hell
How many times do you hear your true authentic voice shouting from the depths of your toes about something you really want. You know that voice of truth. You know you are person who likes being in shape, or likes quiet times alone, or likes going out with friends or likes having money enough to buy what you want.
You don’t change your behaviour because something in you doesn’t allow you the freedom to do it. Let’s not go into the reasons why, there are hundreds of these subconscious reasons and they all feel justified right?
However there are two reasons why we don’t make the change (the story/excuse we use is just the cover):
1. We are not prepared to make the effort because it costs us more than we are prepared to give right now (usually because we cannot feel the benefit of the result because we haven’t been there or have forgotten);
2. We don’t believe that our change in behaviour will bring on the personal transformation we hope for.
The key though is to focus on setting and completing smaller tasks to stop you feeling out of control. Set a task and find out WHY you are not doing it. The reason why you are not acting is the reason why all the other successful changes won’t happen.
Life is a journey full of 24 hour days, if we set and complete tasks each day we will end up where we want but we give up because we keep getting distracted because we won’t set and complete small necessary tasks.
Pick a task and get it done no matter what… and then when it is done, pat yourself on the back and set another task.
Decision means getting out of hell
Decide I want this to happen or not and then give it your total focus until it is done but quit the schizophrenic habits, they just wear you out.
You will only experience happiness when you meet your true needs and if struggling financially or being out of shape is hurting you it means you want to have enough money and you want to burn the excess fat. Don’t fool yourself it is going to change by itself, you caused it and therefore you have the power to turn it around.
Pick one way that YOU BELIEVE will work and block out everything else until it is done. Do not open any more emails about diets or financial freedom if you know something will work.
Focus means blocking out distractions. Distractions will come at you from every corner so don’t buy them otherwise you go around the mountain again… and all that tiredness you feel, that’s simply your resistance. The real you is saying Go and the fraudulent you is saying Stop. So decide, do or do not and then support your decision.
